Pregnant Woman

program

Once a mother enters the program, she is encouraged to obtain her G.E.D., attend college, trade school, or a job-preparation program, or to seek employment. The emphasis of His Nesting Place is the restoration, personal growth, and education of the mother, which prepares her to be responsible for her own future. Also, unlike most other maternity homes, His Nesting Place is able to accommodate women who have other minor children besides their unborn child.

There is no time limit for the mother when she stays here as long as she is meeting her requirements. Our primary goal is to give each woman the opportunity to know and to introduce her to Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. New life can only come through Him.

probation period

The purpose of our 30- day probation is to evaluate your progress to see whether this program is fit for you and vice-versa. Once you have been accepted into our home, this does not guarantee a permanent stay as you are still being evaluated within these 30 days.

goals

  • Behavior/Patterns- They say it takes 21 days to form a habit and 6 months to end one. Our expectations are that you no longer have any bad habits but develop new healthy habits to allow you to become a better person

  • Goals- As we have become like family to you, one of the things we want to see is you building goals for yourself and reaching them, weather that’s a long-term goal or a short-term goal, you are capable of them and we are here to support you! We want to see you achieving these goals

  • Change- Lastly yet most importantly, we are continuing to look for a true change of heart. We are not just a home for you to rest your head but a home to help you change your life to better yourself and get on your feet to be the best mother and woman you can be! This doesn’t happen overnight, it takes time but if you truly want change, it will show and reflect in your behavior within 6 months!
