Help to fund a project

The building we occupy today in Long Beach is over 70 years old and has transformed significantly since His Nesting Place opened it a maternity home. It has cherished countless memories, families, and love, but has also experienced considerable wear tear over the years.
We have always relied on the kindness of compassionate individuals who have either donated to various projects or rallied their communities, friends, and family to support these initiatives. are incredibly grateful for your continued efforts to make His Nesting Place a welcoming home for those in need.
Consider lending a hand to one of our projects today, whether large or small; there is always a need within our ministry!
All project estimates can be provided by our ministry's  contractor upon request!

Remodel the Dining Room

We need to update our dining area by replacing the over 20-year carpet with either tile or hardwood flooring to refresh the space and enhance cleanliness. Additionally, the old furniture will need to be replaced, and paint new will be applied, along with built-in storage units to improve meal service.

Exterior Paint

Window Replacements

Most of the windows in our buildings are original installations from over 50 years. They are not only outdated but also unsafe, as they are not tempered, making them ill-suited for harsh weather conditions and venerable to breaking

Garage/ Donation storage remodel

We're looking to renovate our garage with built-in shelving, storage units, flooring, lighting, and additional improvements. Since we moved into this building over 42 years ago, the garage has never been remodeled, and it currently stores all of our diapers, wipes, hygiene products, donations, and other supplies for the facility. Unfortunately, it's easy for bugs and rodents to access these items, so remodel will greatly enhance the future of our ministry by allowing us to organize incoming items more effectively.

Christmas Room Remodel

We refer to this space as the Christmas Room, as it serves as the storage and organization hub for gifts we provide to mothers and families during the holiday season. However, it truly functions a "Gift Room," accommodating presents for various occasions including birthdays and baby showers. Our aim is to remodel this area with commercial shelving, organization tables, and hanging systems suitable for clothing ranging from infants to adults, creating an easily accessible and well-organized environment. Currently, the setup is disorganized, cluttered and poorly maintained, relying on outdated shelving and bins for.

Upgrade a Bedroom!

Many of our bedrooms were remodeled around 8 years ago, featuring fresh paint and new flooring. However, with multiple families using these rooms, the wear and tear accumulates more quickly than it would with single occupancy over the years. Upgrading the flooring, paint, and furniture is a significant relief for the ministry, ensuring durability for another decade! Currently, there are 10 rooms that require remodeling.
